**BOOMER**

Turick's Bit of Illusion - a dog who has stolen more than a bit of my heart. Birthday: Oct 26 1990. Given to me by Valerie Lefkowitz in 2000 along with Trader.

Handome, hardworking, intelligent, kind, tolerant, welcoming, peaceful, wise, wise, wise, wise.... and really cute too!!!

Hi! It's my birthday ('02?) today! I am on a walk with my young friend Blue Dog and our new buddy Frosty. And for my birthday, as I requested, we have lovely snow! This is Berry Hill Rd, a nice dog sledding trail.

Boomer on the right, Hakka on the left. Two of the necest dogs I know. Double cuteness at wheel! I don't know where we are in this photo, but I bet it's somewhere at home.

Boomer looks pretty young here, but I cannot recall when this photo was taken.

This is at the White Mountain Quest race, action photo below. That's me, Boo and my sister Lini. He is feeling a little shy here, at our overt hero worship.

Boomer and Trader skijoring with some folks. You can see that Boomer thinks the whole thing is rather funny. Trader thinks that I have cookies in my ski boot. I guess you never know. Both of these dogs are excellent company.

In this photo you can really see how handsome Boomer is. Wow!

Boomer's summer domain. The chair is just out of pee reach. That's where I sat and painted dog houses all summer 2000. With creative direction from Boomer of course.

Here are Boomer and his buddy Trader getting ready for one of fall 2000's training runs. Boomer is studying the begining of the trail and getting his strategy ready. (First, run fast. Then run fast. Then run fast...) He would run lead this day with K+K's Storm.

Here is Boomer in his favorite spot, in front of the fire. He is on the rug that belonged to my grandfather, Benjamin Bruce Edmands. Boomer is sometimes like a wise old Grandfather. Or perhaps an assistant Dali Lama. He bestows knowledge and peace.

Fall training on Miss W's small rig. (Birthday gift from wonderful friend Linda.) Boomer is in lead with Nikka. Anuk and Trader are at wheel. I stopped the rig on an uphill...set the break, passed around a water dish then had my tea in front of the team.

Boomer says "let's go for a drive!"

Another race finish, with Boomer and lovely Trader. White Mountain Quest 2001. Boomer is already yaking it up with old friends at the side lines.

Ah, the warmth of the fire....all is well in Boomer's world when the fire is roaring.
