Anuk about 4 or 5 months old.

Anuk loves to run! She is 9 or 10 months here.

Anuk after the 3 foot snow storm, winter '00-'01. She says her house is somewhere...She is 1 year 10 months here.

This is Anuk working with Kelly. Summer 2001.

Anuk must eat spinach when no one is looking. This her shouldering the pack required to earn a WPD. She is really fun on the trail. Boy does she like to eat PB+J sandwiches. I have to pack quiet a few for a day on the trail. One for me and some for her. Hers get less jelly, but don't tell her that.

The evidence. The pink tail. All the dogs got pink tails one winter. I even got a pink pony tail. Since Anuk was going to a dog show, hers wouldn't come out! Life is like that sometimes.

This is Anuk winter '01 on a snow shoe camping trip I took with my friend Peg. Anuk carried her bed roll, her food and lots of water. The snow was so deep and we had fresh tracks, so on the way up she had to walk in between the 2 humans, to use their footprints. Anuk was lots of fun on the trip and very good in the yurt.

Did I say something about fun?!?!? I think I meant LOTS of fun. Oh and by the way, yes I had a pack too and it had everything but the kitchen sink.

This is a close up of Anuk at the Yankee Siberian Husky Club's Specialty Show (June '01) where she took Winner's Bitch and Best of Winners. She got a 5 point major for that!!! Interestingly her mother Sasha won Best of Opposite Sex Adult at the Yankee Siberian Husky Club's AKC-sanctioned Match.
